NOTICE TO ALL NEW BAR PART II STUDENTS (JANUARY) 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS ADMISSION/REGISTRATION

Please be informed that the Registration Exercise for Bar Part II students of the January (2023/2024) Academic Session will commence on January 29, 2024 at 9.00 am.

All students are expected to comply with the dress code at all time, paying special attention to the following.

MALE

  1. Dark suit, while shirt, black tie (not bow tie)while breast pocket hand kerchief (optional) black socks and black leather shoes.
  2. Shirts must be white long sleeve and no folding up of sleeve at any time.
  3. Wearing of blazers, velvet or swede suit, sweaters and Jersey tops are not allowed.
  4. Golden Buttons and Embroidery on suits are not allowed.
  5. Wearing of Black suit on Navy Blue/Charcoal Grey Trousers is NOT ALLOWand vise versa
  6. Wearing of Boots/Sandals, slippers to lectures are not allowed. Only Black leather (well-polished) shoes are allowed.
  7. Dread /twisted hair style, Afro and long beards are not allowed. Beard should be well trimmed.

FEMALE

  1. Dark skirt suit or dark plain gown (black, dark blue or charcoal grey are allowed) worn black on black or vise versa
  2. Only white shirts and blouses should be worn, chiffon, translucent, transparent materials are not allowed.
  3. Sleeveless, up shoulder sleeves are not allowed.
  4. Low necked blouses and shirts that reveal your cleavage are not allowed
  5. Thin strapped (spaghetti) camisole or Tee-shirt are not allowed.
  6. There should be NO embroidery or trimming of any type on gown, suit or blouses.
  7. All gowns and skirt must cover the knee
  8. Moderate jewellery should be worn: (large dangling, coloured earrings; multiple earrings, nose rings, bracelet and leg chains are not allowed.
  9. Coloured attachment, colour breads, wigs, glitter or colouring of any type in the hair is prohibited.
  10. No wearing of Boots, rubber shoes, peep toes shoes, high heel shoe or slippers are not allowed only black leather covered shoes are allowed with moderate heels are allowed for lectures

A.) On arrival, all students are to report at the Account Department (Revenue, Room 012)  for the conversion of their bank payment teller to school fees e-receipt.  This is a pre-requisite for registration.  Students must ensure they are on queue.

B.) Thereafter, students are to report at the Registration Centre (Sir Ademola Adetokunbo Dining Hall) with the following documents- (All in duplicate)

  1. ONLINE POSTING SLIP TO LAGOS CAMPUS;
  2. FULL ADMISSION SLIP
  3. ONLINE PAYMENT RECEIPT/REMITTA;
  4. LAW SCHOOL E-RECEIPT OF PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES;
  5. ONLINE REGISTRATION DATA FORM; AND
  6. Any of the following I.D. CARDS-

i.) University Identity Card;

ii.) National Identity Card;

iii.) Driver’s License

iv.) International Passport; or

v.) Permanent Voters Card.

  1. (a)  3 Coloured Passport Photographs taken in Regulation wear; and

All other registration formalities will continue once the listed instructions have been complied with.
